About Dr. Mosaraf Ali

Dr Mosaraf Ali was born in Calcutta and studied in a boarding school in West Bengal, India. While studying medicine in New Delhi, he got a government scholarship to study in Friendship University in Moscow in 1973. He obtained MD in General Medicine with Honours in 1980 and joined The Central Institute of Advanced Medical Studies in Moscow for post graduation in Acupuncture. He completed diploma courses in Acupuncture, Anesthesia, Iridology, Hypnotherapy and Clinical Fasting.

He returned to Delhi in 1982 after his post graduation and worked in a hospital for a year. In 1983 he opened The Centre for Integrated Medicine in Delhi and built up a very successful practice. During that period he took practical training under eminent physicians of Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani (Hippocratic System of Medicine). He also learnt Therapeutic Yoga, Marma (Ancient Physical Therapy) and the art of Bone-setting (Massage-manipulative technique).

In 1988 he joined Hong Kong's main Complementary Medical Clinic as its Medical Director where he was an overnight success.

In 1991 he moved to London and Headed the Department of Integrated Medicine at The Hale Clinic. He set up his own Integrated Medical Centre in 1996 in Central London with a group of 18 Doctors and Practitioners offering Conventional, Traditional and Complementary Medical services.

In October 2009, the IMC will relocate to 121 Crawford Street, W1U 6BE near Baker Street in Central London.
