Himalayan program

Over the past 25 years Dr. Ali has used this Program to heal thousands of patients with many acute and chronic alignments.

The Himalayan Health Program was created about 20 years ago to combine the health benefits of moderate altitude (5000 ft). It is well known that sportsmen and army personnel use altitude to train and improve their stamina.

Patients walking in the mountains with the additional benefit of diet, yoga and massage display remarkable improvements in health. This is also an enjoyable way of loosing weight, improving health and well-being.

The Kangra Valley is 70km long and about 40km wide. The walks there are beautiful and one gets an opportunity to experience village life first hand.
There are many Hindu Temples and Buddhist Monasteries in the region, sure to inspire. The Taragarh Palace is located in the middle of the valley and so one can explore the various places of interest from there.
The participating group will visit Mcleodgunj, located above Dharamshala, at 7000ft – the same area where The Dalai Lama lives.

Other places of interest are the 2000 years old Baijnath TempleSherabling Monastery (Buddhist monks are trained there), Kangra Fort (where Alexander The Great fought his last battle), Kangra TempleBilling Paragliding Centre and the awe inspiring Uttrala Waterfalls.

Dr Ali’s Sagoor Charity Clinic with its waterfalls and caves, is always a major attraction in the area. The clinic offers free medical care to over 50,000 people. There are 4 guest rooms where International patients are treated for chronic ailments at a nominal price. Patients with ME, arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis and stress go there from Europe for treatments.
